At NPC, we encourage adults to connect with one another through a wide variety of opportunities including: weekly prayer, bible studies, various activities, serving together, and participating in annual retreats and conferences.
Women at NPC are encouraged to grow, build relationships, and serve together. We seek to lead women into a personal and passionate relationship with Jesus Christ, embracing the truth that we need His saving grace. Annual events include our Women's Tea and Women's Retreat. Our hope as a church is to create ways for men to connect in true friendships that lead to Christlikeness. We do this through small group studies, large group gatherings and through recreational and volunteering events.
We have a desire for every Christian man to connect with Christ in meaningful ministry, to be able to serve in ways that are specifically suited to men. There are several ways to serve in the church, including worship techs, maintenance, helping other families with needs, teaching classes and helping in the Children's Ministry. As a church we must be intentionally and systematically teaching, training, modeling the gospel (the good news of Jesus Christ's work on the cross to save sinners and bring God glory). It is the vision of our church, as Colossians 1:28 says, "to present everyone mature in Christ."
The purpose of Sunday School is to provide an opportunity on Sunday morning for men, women and children to meet and to hear of God's plan of salvation and to deepen their understanding of God's Word. Classes are open to anyone who wants to know more about God and his activity in the world and in the lives of people.
Financial Peace University
From time to time we offer this material to our families at NPC. We believe that stewardship is essential to the Christian's spiritual life and her growth into Christ-likeness. Financial Peace University is a nine-lesson, money-management class taught by America's most trusted financial guru, Dave Ramsey. Dave and his teaching team will walk you through the basics of budgeting, dumping debt, planning for the future, and much more. And now you can experience this life-changing class the way that’s best for you: with other people in a local group!
Our Young Adults, age 18 to 30s, is a vital, emerging community lived out through small groups, activities and social events. For more information about activities in the church and ways to connect with others, please contact Matthew Strausbaugh.
